50454_154902311203427_1586_n.jpgSoundHack PD/Max externals workshop :: with Tom Erbe :: September 20, 2010; 7:00 - 10:00 p.m. :: Harvestworks, 596 Broadway, Suite 602, New York, NY.

Erbe will be presenting a collection of free Max and PD externals that he’s developed over the past year. These externals explore many diverse audio processes, including: spectral filtering, spectral dynamics processing, binaural spatialization, granular synthesis, multi-head modulated delay, pitch shifting, bit crushing, and distortion. In his talk he will be demonstrating many tricks and techniques for using these externals, such… as: noise reduction, barber pole pitch shifting, resonance removal, and shimmer reverb.

If you plan to attend this talk, please download the externals here. They run under Max and PD; OS X, Windows, and Linux.

If time permits, Erbe will also be showing his new VST/AU/RTAS plugins, which explore real-time time stretching, pitch shifting, and phase distortion using the phase vocoder.
