MUV Festival 2009 [it Florence]

MUV is an event that explores a world of languages that intersect: the digital arts, electronic music and audiovisual experimentation. Now in its fifth edition, the festival will take place in the beautiful location of Sferisterio “Tambourine” Parco delle Cascine of Florence. The festival opens this year with the current issues of environmental sustainability and collection calls to investigators electronic, techno-visionaries, designers dell’immateriale, activists and designers are able to think about a sustainable future in which technology evolved is the best antidote to the destruction of the planet.

Greenpeace Italy, in collaboration with Mediarc, will present during the festival the last edition of “Ecoguida electronic products”, which draws up a list of companies in the technology sector according to their policy of substitution of hazardous substances and withdrawal / recycling of obsolete products .

CONCERTS & DJ SET

Among the international guests will present Robert Hood founding father, along with Jeff Mills, of Detroit techno, and most recently author of the revival of the historic label m-plant. More important news coming from Latin America, with the dj Chilean Dinky princess of the new electronic-house scene and with the Venezuelan Argenis Brito voice of Señor Coconut project, creator of a live set that involves the soul of Latin America, but tangential to the console for half Europe.

One of the best training techno-funk of the world responds to the name of Detroit Grand Pubahs and will live in Florence consists of an explosive mixture of sound. Altro live innovativo è quello proposto dal tedesco Glitterbug che presenterà Supershelter (acclamato da Groove Magazine come uno dei migliori album dell’anno). Other innovative live is the one proposed by the German Glitterbug presenting Supershelter (acclaimed by Groove Magazine as one of the best albums of the year). The Canadian singer will propose a Deadbeat live where the combination of tech-house and reggae is the voice magically marry Paul St.Hilaire aka Tikiman, one of the most important exponents of the Berlin dub scene. The event draws a look also to the best indie-electro productions with live AutoKratz of Londoners who are active on the French label Kitsune and authors of successful remixes for Underworld and Fischerspooner.

In addition to these international headliner, in the artistic program of the fifth edition of MUV Festival find the new project area dubstep Backwords, composed of 3 / 4 of the Casino Royale (Alioscia, Patrick Benifei, Michele Pauli aka The Leopard) and Alberto Tucci aka TuzZy of Cayorosso .

The timetable will also add other important names dela national and international scene including: Incite, The Subs, Backwords, Otolab, Metu, Andrea Rucci, Xx + Xy, Soulseek sound, Nu Combo Crew Numa, Fake Disco, Oscar Vedmer, Maggie Pie, Diamondog! Green & Redmond, Christiano, Iommi, Umberto Saba, FFH, Tullo Soldja, Today With, Uaui & Ponza, The Clover, Michele Galiano, Marco Solforetti, Angy D’Ambrosio, Mass prod, Minimono, Philipp & Cole, Airone, Time to sleep, Pornorobotz, Urtropode, Selfish, influx, Visual lab, Werk.
